By accessing and using BenchHero, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

BenchHero provides a team event management platform that enables users to create teams, schedule events, track attendance, and coordinate with team members. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

User Accounts

To use BenchHero, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Collect or harvest user information without consent

User Content

You retain all rights to content you create on BenchHero (team names, event details, messages, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Intellectual Property

BenchHero and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without permission.

Third-Party Integrations

BenchHero may integrate with third-party services (such as Google Calendar). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party's terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Google Services Integration

BenchHero offers integration with Google services for authentication and calendar synchronization. By using these features, you agree to the following:

Google Sign-In

When you choose to sign in with Google, you authorize BenchHero to access your basic profile information (name and email address) to create and manage your account.

Google Calendar Integration

When you enable Google Calendar sync, you grant BenchHero permission to:

• Create events in your Google Calendar for BenchHero team events
• Update these events when team event details change
• Delete these events when team events are cancelled or removed

BenchHero does NOT read, modify, or delete any events that were not created by BenchHero.

Compliance with Google Policies

BenchHero's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. For full details on how we handle Google data, please see our Privacy Policy.

Revoking Access

You may disconnect Google services at any time through your account settings or through your Google Account permissions.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

Disclaimers

BenchHero is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BenchHero and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
